About Me

My name is Scott and I was born in Bay City, MI. I grew up there until my family moved to Florida when I was 13. Even though I’m now 40 years old and have lived in Florida for most of my live, I still retain my love of Michigan and Michigan sports. Especially the Red Wings since hockey is the sport that I care most about.

I’m a software engineer by trade. I love to watch hockey and play video games.

My hockey agenda currently includes watching:

  • Every Red Wings game
  • Hockey Night in Canada (on The NHL Network)
  • After Hours (on The NHL Network)
  • Listening to podcasts of NHL Live, The NHL Hour and various others
  • Any other games I find time to watch

I also really enjoy Hockey Day in Canada which is usually shown in the U.S.A. on either NHL Center Ice or the NHL Network. I always record the entire day so I can watch all the features they do throughout the day.

Scott, this is John Ogg. I was checking out your site and wanted to say how cool it is. Great job with the site. Lots of info and links to follow for the hockey novices out there. I know you’re on Facebook, do you twitter as well? Just wondering. – John

Thanks, John! I am on Twitter although I don’t tweet much. I use it more for reading other people’s tweets than for writing my own. I have two Twitter accounts: RedWingsBlog and ScottF69. See ya!
